These methods, tips and the table are a guideline for your help to find the right size for your new GAIA cleats. For GAIA Ultimate cleats always keep the US size (men) in mind, as these are the origin sizes while transfered sizes may change. If you use the below shoe size chart to compare different countries' sizes, always consider that it never can be 100% exact as sizes vary from country to country and from brand to brand. Method 1 Best advice is to try the GAIA cleats of a team mate. If not, following are 2 easy methods to measure your footsize and find the correct US size in the below chart. Scroll down to see them as well as some tips.
Method 2 While standing, place your bigger foot on a piece of paper on the floor. Using a pencil, trace around your entire foot. Hold the pencil straight and make sure it stays in contact with your foot the entire time. To find the lenght of your foot, measure your tracing from heel to the longest toe in cm.  Method 3 Another way to do it, is by measuring your insole. Remove the insole of a pair of sport shoes that fits you well, stand on the insole and ensure, that your bigger foot fits comfortable within the size of the insole. Measure the length of the insole in cm. Tip 1 - socks Allways wear your favoriute sportsocks for both methods. Tip 2 - measurement between 2 sizes In both cases - if your measurement is between two sizes, we recommend to go for the bigger size. The Ultimate specific concept of the GAIA cleats - higher cut around the ankle, lacing up to the front - prevents you from slipping. Only if your foot is really narrow, it might be a good choice to go for the smaller size. Tip 3 - blue toe nails Is Ultimate giving you blue toe nails all the time? Try GAIA cleats and choose one size bigger than you normally do. The Ultimate specific concept - higher cut around the ankle, lacing up to the front - still gives you best support in the cleats! Many players prooved this and were realy happy at the end of the season. After many years of Ultimate it was their first time not loosing toe nails. Tip 4 - portable store at tournaments If you need new cleats just somewhen later, pop in at our JUMP+REACH / GAIA Europe portable store on one of the big tournaments and find out your size.
